Refund and Returns Policy

At Kashmir Expo Arts and Crafts (“Kashmir Expo”, “we”, “our”, “us”), we want you to be satisfied with every purchase.
If for any reason you are not fully happy with your order, you may be eligible to request a return or exchange in line
with the terms set out below.

Return Window

We accept return and exchange requests within 7 days from the date of delivery.
If 7 days have passed since your order was delivered, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.

Eligibility for Return

To be eligible for a return or exchange:

  • The product must be in unused, unworn condition and in the same state that you received it.
  • All original tags, labels, accessories, certificates and packaging must be intact.
  • The product must not be damaged, altered, washed or soiled by the customer.
  • Customised / made‑to‑order / personalised items may not be eligible for return unless received damaged or defective.
  • Items bought during special clearance sales or marked “non‑returnable” at checkout may not be eligible for return.

Non‑returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, some categories may be non‑returnable (for example, certain home‑decor items
with fragile finishes once used or installed, or any product clearly marked as “non‑returnable” on the product page).
Please refer to the individual product description for specific eligibility before placing your order.

Who Pays for Return Shipping

  • Customer remorse / change‑of‑mind / wrong size or colour ordered: Return shipping costs are borne by the customer. Shipping charges are non‑refundable. [web:11][web:15]
  • Damaged, defective or wrong item received: If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos and unboxing video (if available). After verification, we may arrange replacement or provide return shipping guidance at our discretion.

Refund Fee (Payment Gateway Charges)

When a refund is approved, payment gateway and bank charges incurred on the original transaction will be
deducted from the refund amount. This is typically around up to 15% of the order value, depending on the gateway
and payment method used. The exact deduction may vary as per the charges levied by your bank / payment provider. [page:1]

How to Initiate a Return

Please follow these steps to raise a return or exchange request:

  1. Contact our customer support team by email at info@kashmirexpo.com or call us at +91‑9906957741 within 7 days of delivery.
  2. Share your order number, product details, clear reason for return, and supporting photos/video (in case of damage or defect).
  3. Once your request is reviewed, we will confirm eligibility and share the return instructions.
  4. Pack the product securely in its original packaging with all tags and accessories.
  5. Ship the parcel to the following return address using a reliable, trackable courier service:

Please retain the courier receipt and tracking number until your return is processed.
We are not responsible for any loss or damage to parcels in transit sent by the customer.

Inspection and Approval

Once we receive your returned item, our quality team will inspect it to check if it meets the eligibility conditions mentioned above.
We will notify you via email or phone regarding approval or rejection of your return / refund request.

Refund Method and Timelines

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original method of payment (for example, card, net banking, UPI, wallet), unless otherwise communicated. [web:11][web:15]
  • We typically initiate refunds within 7 working days of receiving and approving the returned product for orders within India. [page:1][web:15]
  • For international orders, refund initiation may take 10–14 working days after approval, depending on payment partners and banks. [page:1]
  • Additional time may be required by your bank, card issuer or payment gateway to reflect the amount in your account or statement.

Exchange Policy

Subject to stock availability and product eligibility, you may request an exchange for another size, colour or
product of equal or higher value (in which case you will need to pay the difference).
If the requested product is unavailable, we may process a refund instead as per this policy

Order Cancellation

  • Before dispatch: If you request cancellation before the order is shipped, we will attempt to cancel and process a refund after deducting applicable payment gateway charges, if any.
  • After dispatch: Once an order is dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. You may, however, place a return request after delivery as per the terms in this policy.

International Orders

For orders shipped outside India, return shipping, customs duties, import charges and any additional fees for sending products back to India
will be the sole responsibility of the customer. Such charges are non‑refundable.
