What's in season
Edibles are sold from the most recent harvest, not from a warehouse. Here's when each one actually comes in.
Out of season means out of stock here. We'd rather you wait for the new lot than buy last year's.
A shawl takes three people and most of a year
The fibre is combed from the underbelly of the changthangi goat in Ladakh, spun by hand on a yinder in Srinagar, woven on a wooden loom, then embroidered stitch by stitch in sozni. A kani shawl can take eighteen months on the loom alone.
Every shawl ships with a card naming the weaver, the fibre count and the weave, plus a burn-test note so you can verify it yourself.
